Parenting

Sam goes unpunished. Mitsy doesn’t know how to deal with it and Leighton just doesn’t. He goes to school the next morning like nothing happened. He’s been trying anything he can to get his father angry with him, including not doing his homework.

Mitsy wakes up and goes to the backyard. Some of her plants have died so she goes to the backyard and throws them out. Today is just another day.

Of course things change when she starts to feel sick. The nausea gets worse and then she finds herself in the bathroom.

She decides its nothing to worry about, just some bad food. She goes into the kitchen where she sees Leighton and decides to talk to him about what happened last night.

She’s really concerned about him, but Leighton isn’t. He nods and makes grunts of agreement but for the most part doesn’t seem to be listening. After she finishes her sentence he turns to the fridge and finds something to eat. Mitsy feels completely ignored.

Misty decides she needs air. She takes off for a jog. Anything to get away.

She stops because she feels sick again. This is Connor’s house but he’s not home.

Screenshot-71

Connor gets home from work shortly after she arrived and invites Mitsy in. She spends some time with him but not for long since she has to race to work.

Screenshot-80

Leighton got a promotion at work. Mitsy is too tired to care. Instead of celebrating they go home and straight to bed.

Mitsy wakes up in the middle of the night. Her nausea is still acting up.

Then she realizes she’s pregnant!

Ha, well, now Mitsy is a full-fledged parent! And I wonder why Leighton doesn’t care what Sam does…

Wow! This should be interesting! Great story by the way. I just got done reading it all the way through. Followed the link from your other story.

I don’t get that third last picture. Was it supposed to be there?

If its the one of Mitsy yawning and Leighton claspping its the pic to go with his getting a promotion and her not caring.

Oh, she’s in her work outfit. That’s why I didn’t recognize her. And it’s so dark.
Great story by the way. It sure keeps my interest especially now that she’s pregnant. 🙂

Misty’s going to be a fun Mom.

What position is Mitsy in her workplace? And good luck with the baby! 🙂

Poor Sam. This will probably make him really upset. He already feels like his father doesn’t care about him and if his father gives this baby any attention, I’m afraid of what Sam will do to act out.

Maybe when Sam sees his little half sibling, he’ll change his ways because he sees Mitsy is a good mom. Mmmm? -shrug-

Can’t wait to see her baby!

Awww, can’t wait to see the baby! 😀 I love the chapter, especially the beginning of it about Sam XD You just made it sound so hilarious 😀
“Mitsy doesn’t know how to deal with it and Leighton just doesn’t.” “He’s been trying anything he can to get his father angry with him, including not doing his homework.”… LMAO! XD

It amazes me that Mitsy is the childish one, and yet she is showing more responsibility when it comes to Sam than his dad does.

I can’t wait to see the baby either! 🙂
