It’s True What They Say

While the lady attempts to extinguish the fire, Mitsy’s decided she can’t watch. It’s just too much to bare, her kitchen up in flames…as well as the hope for a cute fireman.

She lets out one last scream and then its all over. The fire is gone, the firefighter has done her job well.

Now its been said that the firefighters in the area are not so friendly after saving your life. Apparantly the job is rather stressful and after putting out a fire they tend to yell. Mitsy doesn’t believe it, till now. The lady suddenly is really, really scary.

Wow someone has issues.

The insurance provides Mitsy with $120 but the new stove costs $400. She’s able replace the stove using her bonus money she received for joining her new career.

Sheesh! You’d think being a local hero would make her more personable. 😉

Wow, the first shot of the fire woman is totally perfect timing XD

in everyones stories they alway talk about the firefighter complaining about their job. I never payed attention to their behavior before so when I watch her react this way I was a little shocked. EA should fix that they’ll give firefighters a bad name.

Yeah, they definitely should fix that! But anyway, they’re even giving a bad name to the social workers (’cause the sims social workers never give you a second chance or negotiate or anything, and in the sims 2 they came for ridiculous reasons, like if the kids were a bit cold when they played outside in the winter… ) AND police, cause the curfew thing is so annoying… O_O Hmmm… maybe there’s even someone more that they’re giving a bad name to, but I can’t think of any right now…

Really? I never had a problem with the social worker, in sims 2 or 3. The only time I ever had a kid taken in sims 2 was when Romeo and Juliette left a baby at college, because they wouldn’t let me take her with me! And in 3, I had a toddler sitting for hours on the grass outside, starving and yelling, and the social worker never showed up! I was starting to wonder what was going on with her…XD

I had kids taken away all the time in the original and i think once in sims2 because i was trying to kill a toddler…it was horrifying looking (adopted)…in sims3 i was threatened to have a sim kid taken from me because i was trying to get the purple ghost (for a screen shot) instead I drowned her…it was only a copy of her though so no guilt.

I think the sims should give you the ability to somehow get your child back if you can prove yourself worthy or something (like in real life) and the curfew is stupid but its actually something that small towns do have so not unrealistic..i think maybe the teens should be able to stay out til 12 though and the kids 10 should be fine…maybe 11 but really they need to be in bed by 10 anyways because of school, lol.

Hmm… Funny, Krystal, that you had so good luck without any social workers 😀 Or maybe I’m just bad at taking care of kids in the sims, ’cause I had the social workers coming like all the time XD But for ridiculous reasons, really! Like once, when I had forgotten to hire a nanny and the kids were left alone fore some MINUTES after they came home from school… they even called a nanny themselves, but before the nanny was there they were taken away! O_O In the sims 2 you could at least get the children back by adopting them to an other family, but in the sims 3 that doesn’t work, I’ve tried several times, and I always only get some randomly made child – WHY, OH WHY!!! 😦 Well, the curfew thing might be okay, if they weren’t caught SO often – if there would be even like a 30% chance to not get caught, but it seems that the chance is rather less than 10%… But I’ve noticed, thank god, that in the sims 3 the social workers don’t come so easily!

wow, you have really bad luck, I’ve had my kids stay out past curfew too many times. it gives quite a nice moodlet but you really do need to keep moving from one lot to the next so you’re not caught.

Just watch out, Mitsy! I’ll bet the new stove will get stolen now. 🙂
