Toddlers and Doll houses

The following day Mitsy notices a stench coming from the fridge. Is that possible so soon? The leftovers havn’t been there that long at all, why would they have gone bad?

Mitsy opens the fridge and is engulfed by the green gases and horifying smells that were trapped inside. She draws herself back and tries to wave the contaminated air away from her face before continuing with the disgusting task before her.

She does’t have time for anything else before the carpool arrives for work. Here lately Mitsy’s been staying out late and draining herself the night before trying to maintain a social life. She rarely leaves work in a decent mood but she also rarely does much to resolve it as well.

Like most days she chooses not to go home right away, but today she returns to the library. Its unusually quiet when she arrives so she finds the toy most like a unicorn to play with. She creates the sound effects for the horse by neighing and moves it about, she’s decided her horse can fly. In the background a toddler has joined her at the library and is crawling strait for the toy section.

The toddler’s name is Kelli Goth. Though Kelli is only a toddler the idea of having someone to play with is exciting so she joins Kelli at the dollhouse. While Mitsy’s doll is jumping on the bed in the upstairs bedroom, Kelli’s doll and playing dentist and checking on Kelli’s teeth. Mitsy’s a bit worried but its tough to say whether its for the dentist who might be eaten or Kelli who might choke.

When Kelli’s dad, Gunther, decides its time to go home Mitsy is a bit saddened by the removal of her playmate. She decides tomorrow she’ll have to meet him for herself, which makes sense since this is the 2nd Goth child she’s spent time with. Being one of the last few at the library she decides to go home as well but not without buying something on her way, her own doll house.

The next morning luck would have it that after using her shower it breaks. Mitsy doesn’t have the money to call the repair man (she spent it on the dollhouse she refuses to part with) nor does she have the skill or patience to fix it for her self.

After work Mitsy races home to play with her new dollhouse for the first time. She needs the stress relief, or at least thats her excuse. She’s forgotten about her shower.

It starts to get late and Mitsy still wants to meet Gunther. She chooses to go to the Goth house, which was rather easy to find considering its the creapiest in town, and see if he’s home. At the front door are a lot of windows so Mitsy can see inside easily and a lot of people are right by the door. She rings the bell several time but none of them ever answer, not even Mortimer (who now seems to be a teen) or the lady who looks right at her.
